Hot temps on deck in Lemoore. City opens its cooling center at Rec Center

The City of Lemoore announced this week that it has designated the Lemoore Recreation Center, located at 721 W. Cinnamon Dr., as a cooling center during an expected extreme stretch of heat.

Local temperatures are expected to exceed 100 degrees at least for the next ten days. According to weather reports, Lemoore is expected to reach 106 degrees on Friday, 107 on Saturday, and a high of 110 on Sunday.
