The fundraiser, featuring a Cornhole Tournament and Brew Fest with local beer and food trucks, a silent auction, and raffle, is scheduled for Feb. 29, 2020, at 1 p.m. at the Lemoore Recreation Center located at 711 W. Cinnamon Ave. in Lemoore.

The Brew Fest portion of the event is $40 per person and includes all-you-can-drink beer. The cornhole tournament is $50 per person, and a two-person team is required to participate. To participate in the Brewfest and the Cornhole Tournament is $80.

Temores was Lemoore native who was killed while on duty guarding the gate at a Virginia naval base when a civilian driving a truck barreled onto the installation, traveling on the wrong side of the road and struck the 23-year-old sailor. The Lemoore man died from his injuries in an area hospital a short time later.

Diaz was killed after trying to intervene in a domestic violence incident in Hanford in November of 2019. Diaz was a well-liked officer within the Lemoore Police Department whose loss was felt deeply by friends, family, and the law enforcement community.

Participating businesses include the Chicken Shack, Bird Street Brewing, Hop Forged Brewing Company, and Tactical OPS Brewing.
