Kings Christian High School’s basketball season ended Wednesday night as the boys dropped a 38-54 decision to visiting Summit Charter Collegiate Academy. The Crusader ladies more than made up for the boys’ loss by easing past the visiting Bears 49-40.

In the girls’ contest, Laci Rose tossed in a game-high 23 points to lead the Crusaders to their eighth win overall. In the boys’ game, Crusader senior, TJ Hudson, gunning for a career-high 1,000 points, fell just short of that mark, but still managed to toss in 31 points in the disappointing loss.

The boys finished at 7-18 overall and 2-6 in the East Sierra League. The girls were 5-5 in league play and 8-14 overall.

It was senior night at the Crusader gym Wednesday night. While the girls didn’t have any seniors on this year’s basketball team, the Kings Christian boys said goodbye to four seniors. In addition to Hudson, the others are Josue Caldera, Jared Tejada, and Schuyler Sparks.
