Long lines were reported in the early evening at Lemoore’s only walk-in polling location Tuesday night as local voters came out in force to vote for national, state, and local elections. The polling location – the Lemoore Masonic Temple on Bush Street and Vine – has been open for residents to vote since Saturday.

This year, Lemoore and California’s voters had plenty of choices on voting preferences. In addition to voting in person, local voters could mail in their ballots or drop them off at a drop box at the city’s municipal complex on Cinnamon Avenue.

Nearly all of the voters were wearing masks and were required to wear them as they entered the Masonic Lodge to vote. According to Kings County elections officials, they were scheduled to have outside voting machines for those not wearing masks
