Assemblymember Rudy Salas (D-Bakersfield) this week applauded the State Legislature’s passage of the 2021-22 state budget and the significant investments secured for various projects and improvements in the Central Valley.

Included in the array of projects is a $2 million allocation for the Emergency Response Center for the City of Lemoore.

With $25 billion in reserves, this historic and balanced budget includes major wins that will create positive changes in the Valley by building bridges, investing in the local workforce, reforming the Employment Development Department (EDD), and putting funds towards clean water projects.
