State Senator Hurtado seeks 'Spirit of Senate District 14' nominees

California State Senator Melissa Hurtado, who represents Kings County and much of the Central Valley, is seeking nominations for her 2021 Spirit of SD14 Award. She is seeking nominations from the community of citizens who may have made a significant contribution to his or her community.

Hurtado says her office is honoring those who live, work or serve the 14th Senate District, which includes all or portions of the following communities: Fresno, Sanger, Parlier, Reedley, Selma, Orange Cove, Del Rey, Calwa, Malaga, Dinuba, Woodlake, Lindsay, Porterville, Farmersville, Orosi/Cutler, Yettem/Seville, Traver, Tipton, Pixley, Terra Bella, Ducor, Ivanhoe, Alpaugh, Richgrove, Strathmore, Hanford, Lemoore, Corcoran, Avenal, Armona, Stratford, Kettleman City, Delano, McFarland, Wasco, Shafter, Bakersfield, Lost Hills, Famoso, and Buttonwillow.

The deadline to submit nominations is Monday, November 15. Nominations must include a 250-word biography. To submit a nomination, please complete an online application.

After the selection process, the chosen nominees will be recognized and invited to the 2021 end of the year Spirit of SD14 Awards.
