Chamber set to honor farmer Tony Azevedo as Kings County agricutural leader
The Greater Kings County Chamber of Commerce has set the date for the 2022 Agriculturist of the Year and plans to honor the accomplishments of local agricultural leaders in Kings County and the support provided by our leaders throughout the Ag industry of Kings County.

As a tradition, a selection committee made up of past honorees met recently to discuss and select the 2022 honorees: Agriculturalist of the Year 2022 Tony Azevedo & Agricultural Support of the Year 2022 Gar Bennett, Karen Musson.

The Greater Kings County Chamber of Commerce will host the event on Saturday, October 15, 2022, with the location to be announced. In addition to honoring this year’s awardees, the evening will include a social, hors d’oeuvres, and dinner. Socializing begins at 5:30 p.m., dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m., followed by the awards program at 7:30 p.m.

Sponsorship opportunities and reservations to decorate tables will be accepted beginning August 1st, 2022. Inquiries about the event may be made by calling the Chamber office at 559-216-0505. 

Tickets went on sale on August 1. Paid reservations received by September 23 are $75/each or a table of 8 for $530. Reservations made after September 23rd will be $85 per person. Tickets will not be available at the door.
