Coalinga's WHC to celebrate Class of 2023 Commencement

The WHCC commencement ceremony celebrates the accomplishments of 524 graduates who have completed their educational journey at the college. Among these graduates, 857 degrees and certificates will be awarded to students, reflecting these students’ hard work, dedication, and commitment to academic excellence.
"The West Hills College Coalinga Commencement Ceremony stands as a prestigious event, symbolizing the culmination of years of unwavering commitment, determination, and resilience for our exceptional graduates,” said Dr. Carla Tweed, President of West Hills College Coalinga. "It is an opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of our students as they embark on the next chapter of their lives."
The Coalinga High School Bowl, nestled on Sunset Avenue between Cambridge Street and Baker Street, will serve as the backdrop for this memorable occasion. The college encourages graduates to invite all family and friends to celebrate their accomplishments. There is no specified limit to the number of guests per graduate, and guests do not need to RSVP.
The Coalinga High School Bowl gates will open at 5:30 pm, allowing guests ample time to find seats and settle. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached.
"We are immensely proud of our graduates and their resolute dedication to pursuing their educational goals," said Tweed. "The Commencement Ceremony is a celebration of their achievements ushering in a vibrant and promising phase in their life's journey. We look forward to commemorating this milestone and sending them off to impact their communities positively."
Family, friends, and loved ones are invited to join us in honoring the Class of 2023. The ceremony will be live-streamed on the college's Facebook page and website at https://westhills.cc/whccgrad. Graduates and attendees can share their photos and experiences on social media using the hashtag #FalconGrad2023.
