Lemoore officer and others honored at annual Public Safety Appreciation Luncheon July 13

The Hanford Chamber of Commerce sponsored this year’s Kings County Public Safety Appreciation Luncheon on Thursday at the First Baptist Church (July 13). The Lemoore Police Department’s Nicholas Gonzales was among several Kings County law enforcement members honored during the annual celebration.

The Hanford Chamber recognized nominees from several Kings County agencies, including Hanford Fire Department, Kings County Fire Department, California Parole Unit, American Ambulance, and the Avenal, Hanford, Corcoran, and Lemoore Police departments.

Other agencies honored included Child Protective Services, Kings County Sheriff’s Department, Kings County Sheriff’s Detention, Highway Patrol, the District Attorney’s Office, and Kings County Probation.

Awards were given to members of all the law enforcement and safety agencies of Kings County: This year’s recipients included Michael Linares, American Ambulance; Natalie Gonzalez, California Parole; Vanessa Victoria, Kings County Child Protective Services; Mike Cortez, Kings Sheriff’s Department; Chloe Hoffmans-Montgomery, Kings Probation; Christopher Pelletier, Avenal Police; Andrew Barksdale, Hanford Fire; Michelle Medeiros, Kings District Attorney’s Office; Mason Van Ness, Kings Sheriff’s Detention; Kenny Arnold, CHP; Raymond Dias, Hanford Police Department, and Michael Ornellas, Kings County Fire.
