Karing for Kreatures, a local veterinarian service, in conjunction with the Lemoore Chamber of Commerce, offered up an entertaining 3K run/walk through downtown Lemoore on Saturday (July 22) as well as a contest featuring the cutest and the ugliest dogs.

Karing for Kreatures, located in Lemoore at 377 Hill Street,  celebrated five years serving Kings County’s pets.

The Veterans Park on Bush Street event drew well over 150 pet lovers for the early  (8:00 a.m.) run, with the pet contest rounding out the two-hour event.  Volunteers and a city of Lemoore motorcycle officer kept traffic moving safely throughout the run.

Vendors were available with goods and services such as doggie scarves, baked pet snacks, and a manicure service for those dogs with extra-long nails.

Karing for Creatures Veterinary Hospital is a mixed animal veterinary facility located in Lemoore, and it serves species from small domestic animals to exotics. The business is open Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Owners and dogs start the race on Saturday morning.
