Lemoore’s voters Tuesday night decided to make a change on the Lemoore City Council. Newcomer Ray Madrigal, took an early dominant lead improved on it throughout the night, easily finishing first the five-person race. Madrigal received 2,047 votes and captured nearly 33 percent of the precincts in finishing first overall. There were two seats available in this election. The second seat went to first-time candidate Jeff Chedester who finished with 1,423 votes, nearly 23 percent of the total. Keep reading...
