Governor Gavin Newsom signed into California law a trio of bills that address health care for seniors and food stamps for CalFresh recipients. Senator Melissa Hurtado’s, who represents Kings County and Lemoore, sponsored the legislation, SB 260, 453, and 490, which will go into effect January 1, 2020.
