Kings Christian gets in the win column with victory over Immanuel Christian

Kings Christian High School, which has been struggling in the early part of the football season, finally got a win Friday night, beating Immanuel Christian in a home contest 32-20. The victory comes after last week’s 44-12 loss to Pinewood.

On Sept. 18 the Crusaders dropped a close decision to Valley Christian Academy 28-26 and lost a Sept. 11 game to Cuyama  44-8. Kings Christian opened the season with a loss at home to Anzar 26-20.

The Crusaders next game is slated for this Friday at home against Fresno Christian. The Crusaders are 1-4 on the season while Fresno comes into Friday’s game with a 4-2 record. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
