Once again, Lemoore’s football regular season comes down to decades-long rival, Hanford. To win the West Yosemite League championship, the Tigers (7-2) must get by a solid 8-1 Bullpups team at Hanford on Friday night.

Lemoore’s players assured themselves of a title tilt, easily dispatching its league foes, culminating in a 29-0 pasting of visiting Tulare Western on Friday night. After playing Tulare to a first-quarter tie, the Tigers rolled over the visitors 29-0, scoring 15 fourth-quarter points to earn a shot at the league title against the Bullpups on Friday night.

The 7-2 Tigers will be taking on a solid 8-1 Bullpups’ team whose only loss came at the hands of Frontier High School – a 35-6 loss.
