The Tigers are hoping to recover from what can only be described as a disappointing 42-13 loss to visiting Sanger High, during which the visiting Apaches scored 28 first-half points – including 21 in the second quarter to quickly get past the vaunted Tigers Friday night in Tiger Stadium. For the second straight year, Lemoore’s varsity football team lost to a potent Clovis West team. Still, this time around, the loss was bittersweet as Lemoore, trailing 21-20 with about four minutes remaining in the game, watched their hopes buoyed when Kobe Green took the Clovis kickoff and promptly ran it back for an 85-yard touchdown, giving the Tigers a tenuous 26-21 advantage with about four minutes left in the game.
