Lemoore High School sent 17 students from the Virtual Enterprise class at Lemoore High School to compete at the 20th Annual Virtual Enterprises Trade Show in Bakersfield on January 14 and 15 and managed to come away with a few honors.

Lemoore’s team took home three awards during the 2-day competition. With an emphasis on college and career readiness, Virtual Enterprise is an in-school, live, global-business simulation that offers students a competitive edge through project-based, collaborative learning and the development of 21st-century skills in entrepreneurship, global business, problem solving, communication, personal finance and technology.

Lemoore High’s Molly Mobley took a first place in the State Business Challenge while the team earned a 3rd-place award in the Best Booth, Novice category and a 10th place in Best Salesmanship, Novice.

The Mobile Enterprises competition team expects to compete next in the San Francisco Area Trade Show in March and the Reedley College competition in April.
