Thanks to some nifty sharp shooting, Lemoore’s talented air rifle shooting team earned a spot in the NJROTC National Air Rifle Championships, to be held Feb. 16-18 in Anniston, Alabama.

Lemoore High School’s NJROTC air rifle team participated in the NJROTC Area-11 Marksmanship Championships in Parlier on Jan. 21. The event included the top marksmanship teams in Area-11 (California and Arizona).  Lemoore’s “A Team” placed third overall, and Lemoore "B Team" placed sixth overall out of the 15 participating teams.

Lemoore NJROTC's Aaron Dorfmeier stood out as the second-best shooter in the event. Lemoore’s next event is the Nationals in Anniston, Alabama where they will compete in the JROTC National Air Rifle Championships.
