Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino has a big check for Central Cal Big Brothers, Big Sisters

“The Big Brothers Big Sisters organization provides a much-needed service to the youth of our community,” said Tachi Palace General Manager Willie Barrios. “We are proud to support them and their efforts to make such positives impacts on the lives of youngsters.”
The annual charity golf tournament was held at the Kings Country Club in Hanford and drew 37 teams, resulting in funds totaling $55,416. The community breakfast, held at Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino, had 480 people in attendance and raised nearly $7,500 with the casino and the Santa Rosa Rancheria Tribe matching the amount, for a total of $14,992. Barrios was on hand to present the $70,408 check to Elizabeth Smith, Operations Manager of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California.
