The East won Saturday’s 51st annual East vs. West Tulare/Kings All-Start game at Golden West High School’s Groppetti Automotive Visalia Community Stadium in convincing fashion, falling behind early then scoring 33 unanswered points to crush the West 33-12.

The game’s first touchdown came courtesy Lemoore High’s all-around athlete Jack Foote, who scored on a three-yard run to put his West squad up 6-0. It wasn’t until late in the fourth quarter that the West scored again, but by then the damage had been done.

Foote took on quarterbacking duties Saturday night. The talented student-athlete played just about every position but quarterback during his all-league career at Lemoore High. Foote was one of three quarterbacks to play for the West.

The East team, with its victory, took a 26-18-4 lead in the longtime series.
