The local Legion Post is a patriotic veterans’ organization devoted to charitable work in Lemoore.

Approximately 660 persons attended the latest breakfast, raising $3,586 at the door. The Palace matched that amount for the final total.

The check was presented to William Overby and new Post Commander Randy McCord. The local American Legion holds weekly breakfasts for veterans and homeless people, and sponsors the annual Veterans Day Parade.
