Lemoore’s boys’ and girls’ water polo teams get the new school year underway this week, but the boys already have a loss under their belts, dropping a 12-5 decision to Monache on Aug. 15 in the Marauders’ pool.

The boys’ and girls’ water polo teams won’t have a home contest for at least a few weeks as renovations continue on the school’s pool.

Coach Josh Acosta’s Tigers and Jeff Kuykendall’s ladies will travel to Kingsburg on Thursday afternoon (Aug. 22) to take on the Vikings. The girls begin at 5:30 p.m. while the boys begin action at 6:30 p.m.
