LHS water polo teams continue road woes. Boys lose in narrow loss. Ladies lose 17-3
The Tigers girls fell to 1-5 on the season while the Tiger boys are 3-8 on the season. Both teams travel to Visalia tomorrow (Sept. 12) for a match against Redwood High School to begin the West Yosemite League campaign. The boys play at 6:30 p.m. while the girls are scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
In the boys’ contest Tuesday night Hanford West took the early 6-3 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Tigers scored four times in the second period but still trailed 10-7 at the half. Lemoore outscored West 5-3 in the second half but it wasn’t enough as the Huskies prevailed.
