What's on tap. Busy week for Lemoore Tigers with Tennis, volleyball, water polo and football

Lemoore’s athletic teams will be busy this week, including the girls’ tennis team which has a home date with Hanford on Thursday. Lemoore’s squad is currently7-5 overall and 1-2 in the West Yosemite League.

Lemoore’s boys are slated to play in a water polo tournament beginning Friday, Sept. 20. The girls’ next action is at Golden West on Sept. 25. They will join the boys in the league matchups.

In other Tiger action, the boys’ and girls’ water polo teams travel to El Diamante on Wednesday (Sept.18) for a WYL match. The Tiger boys (0-1) are coming off an 18-12 loss to Redwood on Sept. 12. The Lady Tigers are also 0-1 as they head into Miner country on Wednesday.

Lemoore’s volleyball team hopes to improve upon its 0-2 WYL start when they travel to Visalia with a matchup with league foe Golden West, also 0-2 early in the season. The Tigers will tackle Hanford on Sept. 25 in the Bullpups gym.

On Friday Lemoore's varsity football team hopes to return to its winning ways when it hosts Tulare Union in a 7:30 p.m.game in Tiger Stadium.
