The Kings Christian boys’ basketball team will attempt to improve upon its 3-6 record Thursday night when the Crusaders take on Riverdale High School Thursday (Dec. 12) in the Parlier Tournament. The Crusader ladies (2-2) have a Dec. 18 date at Farmersville slated for 4 p.m.

The Kings Christian boys’ team is fresh from a disappointing home loss to California City, during which the Crusaders managed just 22 points in their 85-22 loss.

The Ravens Madetoneyo Mays and C. Richardson led the Ravens in scoring with 15 and 14 points respectively.

The Crusaders fell behind early 23-2 and California City led 55-10 at the half. Kings Christian managed to turn the tide a bit in the final period, outscoring the Ravens 12-9.
