Tiger swimmers race to win against visiting Corcoran and Mission Oak in Thursday meet

Lemoore had plenty of winners on Thursday’s (February 27) swimming meet featuring visiting schools Corcoran and Mission Oak High School. The Tigers hit the road for a non-league event at Tulare Western on Thursday, March 5.

At Thursday’s meet in the Lemoore High School pool, both the Tiger boys and girls finished on top. Emma DeBurger won the 50 freestyle and 500 free while teammate Teagan Dill was also double winner, placing first in the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke.

On the boys’ side, Daniel Bermea won the 200 IM and 100 butterfly, and  Michael Olivarez took top honors in the 50 and 100 freestyle races.

Finally, Janson Cunningham won the 500 free and 100 backstroke to lead the Tigers.
