Tigers' lady volleyball team 2-1 in WYL as they battle down the stretch for league title

Lemoore’s Tiger volleyballers are 8-8 overall and 2-1 in the early race for the West Yosemite League title. The latest Tigers’  victim was fellow WYL opponent Golden West, whom the Tigers beat 3-0 in a Tuesday matchup in Lemoore gym.

The Tigers are 8-8 overall and 2-1 in league play.

Lemoore easily got past the Trailblazers and hopes to do the same against visiting Mt. Whitney on Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m.

After Thursday’s game, Lemoore has at least six more opportunities against fellow WYL schools in their run toward a possible championship.
