Lemoore's vaunted wrestling team hosted the 19th annual Lemoore Duals on November 23, a meet that featured the San Joaquín Valley's top programs. Hitting the Lemoore mats were Division 1 standout Madera High, Central High, and of course, Lemoore High School's talented Tiger team. Madera South, Kerman, Paso Robles, Corcoran, and Mendota also made the trip to Lemoore.

The Tigers racked up wins against Kerman 68-9, Madera High 54-12, and Mendota 56-9 before dropping their final bout to Central High, 50-12

Lemoore had four all-tourney wrestlers who went undefeated in the prestigious tournament. The four won all four of their matches.

Sophomore grappler Jason McDonald ranked 16th in the state at 108 pounds, completed his tournament with an 8-2 victory over the 24th ranked wrestler in the state.

Another Tiger, Isaiah Morales, a junior coming off of the recently completed football season as the West Yosemite League  Linemen of the Year, is ranked number eight in the state. He started the season off well, picking up four wins in the local tournament.

Another Tiger, Gabriel Skyers, won three matches by pin. At the same time, Dylan McDonald, a returning state qualifier ranked 26th in the state at 122 pounds, compiled a 4-0 record in the first tournament of his senior campaign. Included in the victories was a major 12-4 win against a state-ranked wrestler.

Other notable wrestlers included Cameron Campos, a senior, who was 2-1 in the tourney, and Sebastian Macedo, a junior and the 34th ranked wrestler in the state. He was 2-1 on the mats, losing only to a 19th-ranked wrestler.

Lemoore's junior varsity team also competed and rallied to a third-place finish. Outstanding wrestlers included Kayden Folks, Samuel Allison, and Johnny Chuna.

The Lemoore girls' team competed at the Redwood Invitational, where senior standout Mia Meno was crowned the tournament Champion. Meno also found herself wrestling in her second tournament finals at the Ladies Tiger Invitational on November 24.

Next up for the Tiger wrestling team is a varsity visit to the Chukchansi Invitational on Friday and Saturday and a girls' match at the Monache Invitational.
