LHS Tiger wrestlers had four placers at prestigious Chukchansi Invitational at Madera South High School

Lemoore's wrestling team did well at the prestigious Chukchansi Invitational held recently at Madera South High School Dec. 3-4.

The Tigers had four placers at the Invitational over the two-day tournament. Lemoore's top finisher was senior Dylan McDonald, who finished second in an exciting 4-0 loss to a Selma wrestler currently ranked 15th in the state.

Senior Cameron Campos placed eighth overall, while junior grappler Sebastian Macedo placed seventh. Junior Isaiah Morales was third.

At the RM Parks Invitational, Lemoore had six wrestlers who managed to place in their weight divisions in girls' action. They included Sierra Cancel, with a seventh-place finish, Halona Martinez, who placed fifth; Gracelyn Rodriguez, sixth. Ginette Vega, fourth,  Isabella Silva sixth, and Senior Mia Meno finished in second place.

JV Boys placed second at the JV Chukchansi Duals.
