Lemoore grad completes successful first semester at U.S. Air Force Academy
Sartin, the son of Lemoore’s Ann and Richard Sartin earned an appointment to the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs when he received an appointment in March of 2021.
Reese has four siblings including an older sister Sia, currently an LTJG in the U.S. Navy. His older brother Bryan also served in the Navy. Sister Courtney is a kindergarten teacher, while youngest brother Hunter is an LHS sophomore.
A top-notch student while at LHS, Sartin graduated near the top of his class during his senior year, finishing 10th out of 414 graduates.
The talented student also played varsity baseball (he was a West Yosemite League First Team, WYL unanimous selection as a pitcher), and served in student government as the class treasurer, and was Military Teen Club’s secretary.
Nominated by Congressman TJ Cox for (CA-21) before he left office, Sartin earned his appointment to US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs in March of 2021.
The future Air Force officer left Lemoore in June, bound for the Air Force Academy.
Sartin recently completed a successful first semester, majoring in Geospatial Science and he hopes to eventually be part of the nation’s intelligence community.
