Lemoore’s varsity boys’ soccer team had its hands full with a visiting Lompoc team Tuesday night in Tigers Stadium. The Tigers, a playoff entrant that went 10-12 overall and 5-5 in the West Yosemite League, fell 3-0 to the visiting Lompoc Braves Tuesday night in Tiger Stadium. All three of Lompoc’s goals came in the second half of Tuesday’s Division IV tournament game. The Braves get a second-round game closer to home when they take on 11th-ranked Santa Ynez on the coast.
In other Division IV action, Riverdale High School had its hands full with No. 16 Memorial Tuesday night, edging the Panthers 1-0 in opening-round action. Riverdale will take on East Bakersfield Thursday night.
