MIQ Academic Decathlon team does well in Catholic Junior High Decathlon

The local school’s team consisted of 6-8th grade students. The MIQ Decathlon Team placed 3rd in Logic Quiz out of 10 schools. Students who competed well included 8th grader Julia Schmitt who placed 2nd in the individual quiz for English.

Sixth Grader Jonathan Cruz placed first in the individual quiz for Religion, and Reiden Lim, a 7th grader, placed first in the individual quiz for Science.

Cruz and Lim will move on to the Nationals in April.

Team members include Jonathan Cruz, Madeline Cruz, Claire Fagundes, Reiden Lim, Alyssa Lopez, Gabriel Ramirez, Jaxon Schell, Julia Schmitt, Isaiah Smith, and Joseph Smith. Coaches: Mrs. Martin, Mr. Guzman, and Mr. Vigil.
