Despite giving up four runs in the second inning, Lemoore pitcher Emiliano Murillo stuck it out as his team, trailing 6-1 in the bottom of the third, rallied to defeat Tulare Union’s Tribe in Friday’s West Yosemite League cliffhanger 7-6.

One of the highlights of the contest featured outfielder centerfielder Dominick Najar’s incredible catch that ended a Tulare Union rally. Thinking Najar would not make the catch, a Tulare Union runner raced for home, but Najar made an incredible catch in the outfield and doubled up the runner at second base.

The win kept the Tigers first in the WYL at 6-0. Overall Lemoore boasts a 12-4 record.

Lemoore’s Israel Ramos had a pair of hits for the Tigers. Lemoore has a Monday game at Mission Oak, where it hopes to continue its WYL winning streak.
