It was not another good Saturday as the Kings Christian Crusaders took a road trip to Trinity Classical Academy and lost 50-12. The loss dropped the Crusaders to 1-3 overall.

Hopefully, a little home cooking will assist Kings Christian when they host Fresno Christian in a 7 p.m. tame on their home field. Fresno Christian is 2-2 overall.

Kings Christian Crusaders fell behind early in Saturday morning’s game against visiting Desert Christian Academy and was never really able to come back from an early deficit as the road-weary Conquerors improved their overall record to 2-1 with a 48-28 victory over Kings Christian.

The Conquerors took off on the Crusaders early, despite having driven a long distance the night before and spending the night in the Kings Christian gymnasium. But it was the Crusaders who showed up looking flat in the first half as Desert Christian took a quick, almost insurmountable lead in the opening stanza.
