The Lemoore High School Foundation was a big beneficiary of the Class of 1978 Reunion held Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino. In actuality LHS graduates from years 1975-1981 were invited to the big gala.

Nearly 100 former Tigers attended the event beneath a nearly picture perfect evening of music, fun and fine food.

Organizers of this event, the Class of 1978’s 35th Reunion, worked long and hard on the event, bringing in former classmates from throughout the country.

Class of 1978 President George Will convinced the Tachi Palace to donate $500 to the Foundation, which in turned was matched by members of the classes. On hand to present the Palace’s contribution was Tachi General Manager Willie Barrios. Will presented a check for $500 to former Lemoore High School Superintendent Bill Black who is also the current Foundation president this year.

The money will go toward a scholarship for an LHS student.
