Lemoore High School and Lemoore Middle College High School faced some of the toughest competition available in the San Joaquin Valley at the VEX Robotics competition held Saturday at the West Hills College Lemoore Conference Center as part of the West Hills College Robots League.
A team from Lemoore High and several teams from the Middle College High School competed in the all-day event with such local valley high schools as Central, Riverdale, Bear Creek, Sacred Heart, Valley Oaks, and the Clovis Center for Advance Research and Technology. The VEX Robotics Comeptition, is a product of the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation and is the ultimate STEM activity for middle school and high school students. Lemoore Middle College has been competing for several years. This is the first year Lemoore High School has field a regular class-based team. Lemoore has field a club team in past years.
