It’s taken the offense a few games to get untracked, but on Tuesday night in Tiger Stadium, Lemoore’s varsity boys’ soccer team finally broke loose to score and beat visiting Corcoran 1-0 under the lights on a very cold night.

The Tigers Missael Aguilar scored the first goal of the season in the first half of Tuesday night’s game against the Panthers. Lemoore had several shots on goal prior to Aguilar’s goal.

Lemoore improved to 1-5 on the season after losing its first five games without scoring a goal. The Tigers opened their season on Nov. 26 with a 4-0 loss to Edison High School and then traveled to Reedley and dropped a 6-0 game to the Pirates.

The Tigers hosted Tulare Union on December 4 and took a 3-0 loss before succumbing to Avenal on Dec. 6 and Chowchilla 7-0 last Saturday, Dec. 7.
