Lemoore police nab parolee and find drugs in his possession; booked into Kings County Jail

The Lemoore Police Department on Saturday (Dec. 21) morning alertly nabbed a wanted parolee who had an outstanding felony. An LPD officer stopped Ignacio Garcia on Vine Court in Lemoore.

Garcia, 44, when pulled over by a Lemoore police officer, told the Lemoore officer that he was aware of the warrant for his arrest.

A search of Garcia yielded in excess of 42 grams of methamphetamine, a digital scale, numerous cell phones, a pay/owe sheet, drug paraphernalia and a large sum of U.S. Currency, totaling $3,508.

The Kings County Narcotic Task Force was called in to assist in the investigation.

Garcia was arrested for the parolee at large warrant, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drugs for sales, transportation of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and under the influence of a controlled substance.

Garcia was booked at the Kings County Jail with a bail amount of $60,000.00.
