Tiger golfers get solid team effort to win West Yosemite League meet at Lemoore Muni

Lemoore’s varsity boys’ golf team took top honors Thursday at the Lemoore Municipal Golf Course, finishing atop the West Yosemite League final standings with a total of 422 points.

Leading the Tiger charge was Nolan Pederson who fired a 79 to lead a well-balanced Tiger squad. Pederson wasn’t far off the low round of the day, shot by Mt. Whitney’s Hunter Forner, who fired a 76.

For the Tigers, Nick Andrada shot an 83 while Connor Ahlin fired an 85. Cory DeRaad had an 87 on the day while Darren Mercer fired an 88 to contribute to the big WYL win for the Tigers.

El Diamante finished second with a combined low total of 429. Third place went to Hanford while Redwood finished fourth.
