It was another up and down week for Tiger softball. Just two days after turning in an 11 hit performance against Mt. Whitney High School, which resulted in a 5-0 win, the Tigers suffered a disappointing 8-6 loss to defending West Yosemite League champions El Diamante. The Miners beat the Tigers in eight innings when they scored four in the seventh to tie and two more in the eighth to win.

Lemoore fell to 5-20 on the year and are currently 2-8 I the WYL.

Ines Ramirez suffered the loss for the Tigers. The talented softball player pitched the entire game for Lemoore. Mareya Ortiz had three RBI for Lemoore while Megan Ambriz and Ramirez had two hits each. Alyssa Vasquez was three for four as the Tigers came up with 13 hits on the day.

In Thursday's game against the Miners, again Ramirez pitched the entire game, this time getting the win while tossing a three-hitter and striking out four. Britney Antuna went three for four in the contest with an RBI while Katelyn Cole also had three hits in four trips to the plate. Devani Ballor went two for four as the Tigers collected 11 hits.
