Local businesses celebrate ribbon cuttings and 25 years in business in Lemoore

One new business and one longtime business celebrated new beginnings Thursday in Lemoore. The new business, "Décor 'A Lemoore" opened its doors just recently at 242 Heinlen St.

Owner Lynda Lahodny refers to her business as a "home and garden décor business that takes time-worn relics and puts new "purpose" into them.

Lahodny took over the building that once housed Lemoore's longtime flower shop, Ramblin' Rose, which moved just next door, into the old Leoni's Pharmacy building. Owners Chris Brasil and John Miller wanted a bigger and more visible location and made the short move. The opened a few months ago, but just now got around to a ribbon cutting.

The two businesses and friends decided to share the ribbon cutting and plenty of friends and neighbors were on hand to help them celebrate their new ventures. (Photos by Jay Salyer)
