Former West Hills College Lemoore athletic director Bob Clement will serve as chairman of the 47th annual Tulare-Kings All-Star football game this year in place of the late district board member, Bill Henry. Clement, who recently retired, served for many years as athletic director at both WHCL and West Hills College Coalinga.

This year’s game is sponsored by the Lemoore Kiwanis Club, of which WHCL President Don Warkentin is a member. Game time is 8 p.m. Friday, July 25 at Bob Mathias Stadium in Tulare. The entrance fee is $5 for students and $10 for adults.

As chairman, Clement oversaw the selection of coaches and player nominations along with members of the all-star game committee. The West head coach is Ryan Rocha from Tulare Western High School, and the East head coach is Carl Scudder from Porterville High School.

Players from the West were nominated from Coalinga, Corcoran, Delano, Dinuba, Hanford, Hanford West, Lemoore, Mission Oak, Tulare Union, Tulare Western Laton and McFarland. Players from the East are from Central Valley Christian, El Diamonte, Exeter, Farmersville, Golden West, Granite Hills, Lindsay, Monache, Mt. Whitney, Porterville, Redwood and Strathmore.
