One of the Tulare-Kings All Star Football Game’s biggest boosters was honored during halftime of the 47th annual game Friday night in Tulare’s Bob Mathias Stadium. Current game chairman Bob Clement presented the family of longtime Kiwanian and game chairman Bill Henry with a commemorative jersey bearing his name. His wife Patty and members of his family accepted the honor.

Henry was the game’s chairman for the last 25 years of his life. Henry passed away recently and was remembered Friday night for his love of the game and his dedication to youth sports programs in Lemoore and the Valley.

Henry was a longtime teacher in the Central Union School District as well as a long-serving member of the West Hills College Board of Trustees.
