Lemoore Elementary District Posts Vacancy for Board of Trustees

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a vacancy on the Lemoore Union Elementary School District Board of Trustees has been created by a lack of candidates filing for election. The Lemoore Union Elementary School District Board of Trustees intends to make a provisional appointment to fill the vacancy pursuant to California Education Code section 5091.

Any registered voter residing in Trustee Area 2 in the city of Lemoore is eligible to be appointed to fill this vacancy, except the Lemoore Union Elementary School District Superintendent, any member of the staff, or any employee of the school district. Any person who meets the qualifications and is interested in being appointed to the Lemoore Union Elementary School District School Board should write a letter of interest to, Attention: Richard Rayburn, Lemoore Union Elementary School District 100 Vine Street, Lemoore, CA 93245, on or before October 10, 2014.

The Lemoore Union Elementary School District Board of Trustees intends to consider making the appointment at a special meeting to be held on October 30, 2014.
