A few hundred Lemoore kids and their parents picked out plump pumpkins, chowed down on free hot dogs, had their faces painted by student FFA volunteers, and in turn, got to paint their own pumpkins Saturday afternoon at the annual Lemoore High School Future Farmers of America Pumpkin Patch, held at the school's farm.
Members of the local FFA were on hand to assist children as they painted faces and provided paint and some guidance as they painted their pumpkins before taking them home for display during Halloween.
