Tiger golfers earn top spot in Division II and earn trip to team golf championships

Lemoore’s girls’ golf team, led by the Central Section’s top individual qualifier, Dani Kinder, won the Division II team championship last week at the Ridge Creek Golf Course in Dinuba.

Lemoore will travel to Madera where they will play in the Central Section Team Championship Tuesday. Lemoore shot a team total 490 to take the top spot in the Division II section.

Joining Kinder in the individual championships will be Jayda Olaes and Auyanna Barrios. The individual championships will be held in Taft on November 4.

Kinder fired a Central Section best 77 at Dinuba to earn the low qualifier spot.
