Police seek leads into shooting on Magnolia Avenue on Sunday

Lemoore police continue to investigate a Nov. 9 Sunday morning shooting that left two adult males with gunshot wounds. The incident occurred at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

Lemoore police officers were dispatched to Magnolia Ave for a report of shots heard and breaking glass. Officers located a residence with apparent bullet holes in the home and checked the residence for gunshot victims but nobody was home.

Lemoore Dispatch then advised the officers that two males with gunshot wounds had arrived at the emergency room at Adventist Medical Center in Hanford. An officer responded to AMC and contacted two adult males, who stated they had been shot in Lemoore. The victims were unable to identify any suspects and stated they didn’t know the reason for the shooting.

The two victims were later transported to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno where they were treated for their injuries. Both victims are expected to survive. The victims in this case both have gang ties but it is unclear at this time if the shooting was gang related.

It was later discovered that there were numerous subjects in the residence at the time of the shooting. The shooting appeared to have taken place just outside of the residence and possibly inside of the residence as well.

The suspects in this case have not yet been identified. This shooting is still under investigation and anyone with information about it is asked to call the Lemoore Police Department at (559) 924-9574.
