Michael Dean Waxler

Michael Dean Waxler, formerly of Armona, passed away in his home in Chino Valley, Arizona on November 4 at the age of 35.  Born in Lemoore (NAS), he attended Armona Elementary, Parkview Middle School and Hanford High, before moving to Chino Valley, AZ where he attended Chino High School.

He will be remembered for his love of BMX and dirt-bike riding, he was always a joker making everyone around him smile.

He liked working alongside his dad at the family owned muffler shop where "Loud Pipes Saves Lives" is the motto. Working on cars, especially his RX7, was his passion.

Michael loved being a father, spending time playing with 3-year-old Daniel, because he was a big kid himself. He was a very loving, caring and supportive person, had a fun sense of humor and a very giving heart, he would help anyone in any way he could.

Michael is survived by his son, Daniel Waxler of Chino Valley; his father, Robert Waxler, USN retired; his mother Gil Waxler, both of Chino Valley, AZ; his 3 sisters, Teresa Downey of Summerville, SC; Ashli Russell (husband Michael) of Fresno, CA; Kena McKay of Chino Valley; and nieces and nephews, Rebecca, Brittany, Chelsea, Douglas, Catherine, Christopher, Devin, Bobby and Trei.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 22 at 10am - Chino Valley United Methodist Church, 735 E Road 1 South, Chino Valley, AZ.
