Police seek information on man suspected of attempted robbery of local business

On November 19, about 10:30 a.m. a male suspect entered Rosa's Jewelers in Lemoore carrying a back pack and a duffle bag - as well as a firearm. The suspect approached an employee and a customer at the jewelry counter and pointed the firearm at them as he entered, telling them to get down on the ground.

The customer in the store told officers he believed the firearm was not real and pushed the suspect's arm away from him. The suspect turned and ran away.

The suspect ran to the alley behind the store. He was seen by witnesses getting into a light green or gray Chevrolet Trailblazer. The vehicle is described as an extended version, 4 doors, with no other outstanding features.  The suspect and vehicle were last seen driving in the area of E St. and Fox St. 

There were no injuries or loss of property.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic Male, about 25 years old, about 6-foot tall and 180 pounds, slender build, dark hair with a goatee, wearing sunglasses, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and tennis shoes.
