Lemoore girls' soccer teams with Lemoore Christian Aid to collect items for the needy

Lemoore High School’s varsity girls’ soccer program is joining forces with Lemoore Christian Aid for a season-long drive to help the needy in our community every home game this season.  The team will be collecting sundries; shampoo, razors, lotion and other similar items in coordination with Lemoore Christian Aid.

The drive is called, "Soccer Outreach". The goal is to help the needy.  A photo will be taken with each visiting team before each home game with a banner.

“We’re trying to promote coming together with our opponent for a bigger purpose,” said Tiger Coach Janet Brown.   “It’s not just about soccer.”

Lemoore Christian Aid’s John Benton will be on hand at the first home game. Lemoore’s varsity girls normally play at 6 p.m. Junior varsity girls play at 4:30 p.m. Lemoore’s next home game is January 6 against Redwood High School in Tiger Stadium.
