The Lemoore girls’ soccer team may have kicked off its West Yosemite League season with a 1-0 loss to visiting Redwood High School on Tuesday, but it scored big in another way. The Lemoore ladies joined forces with their Ranger counterparts for a team photo highlighting Lemoore’s Soccer Outreach Drive, designed to solicit much-needed donations for Lemoore Christian Aid.

The team will continue to request donations throughout the remainder of the soccer season. They will be collecting donations at the games. “It was a great first night for the drive,” said Tiger Coach Janet Brown. “We received many donations for our soccer drive. We collected sundries from both Redwood and our team and will be giving the items to Lemoore Christian Aid for the need.”
